i guess it is about a new spreadsheet and an automated tracking system that allows you to track waste before the consumer buys the product. definetly a good idea and i think it could save alot of companies money and it might keep theft down in the workplace since they are keeping records of what waste they should have at the end of the month
Agreed, food waste can be a huge killer of profits. Having a program that can compute a rough estimate of food waster per product can help you decide what to and what not to buy and how to keep track of what you are wasting. Also if you have an idea of what is being wasted you could even try to use that waste to form another product. So you could potentially turn waste into profit if you plan your purchasing properly. This can also help you keep track of if employees are rushing and wasting needlessly. I feel the opportunities with this are almost endless.
